I aspire to become a concept artist, and studying at the Art Students League would give me the opportunity to meet new artists who can support me as I fine tune my skills to fit media industry standards. From an early age, art has been my passion. I aspire to learn from others and spread creativity across the world. I progressed through art classes in middle school and won scholarships from Disney in high school. I hope to become a successful concept artist so that I can share my ideas broadly.

“From an early age, art has been my passion. I aspire to learn from others and spread creativity across the world.”
Through movies, tv shows, and video games, my ideas will reach many young viewers. With this, I hope to inspire younger generations similar to how artists such as Ryan Meinerding, Alex Ross, and Todd McFarlane have inspired me. These artists are notorious for bringing comic book characters to life through many mediums such as graphite and watercolor. Their works define my childhood experiences with comic books. My goal is to be able to utilize these mediums as skillfully as these artists so that my ideas to translate to the world fluently.

I study at LaGuardia Community College, and although they offer art classes, I yearn to pursue more knowledge and understanding elsewhere. I believe that learning from multiple sources will allow me to gain different perspectives on how to approach my artwork. I have heard many great things about the community and environment at the Art Students League, and I would love to be a part of it. This experience would allow me to explore life drawing, pushing me out of my comfort zone of working mostly on comic book panels. At the League, I believe I will become a better artist.
