What’s Sprouting:

Happy New Year!
It’s the season for reflecting on the people in our lives who make our
days better. In our second issue, the Seeds team thanked you for helping
our seedlings by listening, talking, and guiding. There are many long-
time League students who’ve led interesting lives and can help answer
some of the questions our seedlings are struggling with.
How to live their lives, choose a career, go to college or trade school,
whether to follow their dreams or go for the money. These are some of
the questions posed in our mentor meetings. In this issue we’re
introducing “Artist & Inspiration” to answer some of these questions.
Miyuki Fuji is our first artist to share her journey and inspire our
seedlings. If after reading her story, you would like to add your
experience to the many voices needed to guide seedlings, please reach
