Partners in Art Education

Seeds offers scholarships to artists ages 8 and up to take classes at The Art Students League and provides internships and employment to award-winning teens, college graduates, and emerging artists, giving them the opportunity to gain experience in arts administration and to teach art programs in schools, community centers, as well as arts and social service programs, in all five boroughs, benefiting both aspiring art teachers and students.

In its ten years, Seeds has given out more than 650 scholarships, students have earned over $1,000,000 in college scholarships, and students have been awarded enough Scholastic Art Award gold keys to open the doors needed to access the art careers they were seeking: they are now architects, teachers, illustrators, animators and more.
