Seeds Opportunities

New York City is abundant in opportunities available to young people interested in pursuing the arts as a hobby, through secondary education, or as a career. Seeds of the League is eager to make these resources more available to the students we serve. Browse through the program opportunities below to learn about internships, art programs, funding opportunities, and college prep programs that are free for NYC youth. Please inquire further through each of the program websites linked in the respective buttons.

  • Three winners will receive $200 Visa gift card, an artwork feature on Roundtable website and social media, their artwork printed on “It Starts with Arts” campaign materials, and will be honored in-person at Face to Face conference in April. Runners up will receive $50 Visa gift card and artwork featured on Roundtable website and social media.

  • K-12 Students Across the U.S.
  • Win up to $30,000 in college scholarship funding, a $50,000 tech package for your school/non-profit organization, and your artwork displayed for a day (24 hours) on Google.com
  • U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Greencard Recipient and in grades 10-12 or ages 15-18
  • Win $100 – $10,000, join a network. of YoungArts award winners, receive mentorship from accomplished artists, and receive national recognition. Twenty winners will be selected as U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts.
