Through my art, I try to capture the vibrant movement of the city and stories of life happening around me. I hope to convey my perspective, and the powerful experience of being in the scene and present in the moment. As a student at LaGuardia High School, I have diligently practiced my craft of drawing and painting; I’ve studied anatomy and I’ve experimented with printmaking.

Taking courses at the Art Students League has furthered my artistic skills. The classes have been both rigorous and rewarding and have helped me learn how to construct the figure by studying anatomy and allowing me to explore new ways to depict a figure and arrange a successful composition.

Using these skills, I have been able to visually realize my own stories through drawings, paintings, animations, illustrations, and comics. I have had my work selected and shown in exhibitions including the Manhattan Borough Art Festival, J. Mackey Gallery Student Show in East Hampton, and the student salons in the Art Students League gallery. I was accepted to attend The Cooper Union in fall 2023 and will be majoring in fine arts. My goal is to pursue a career as an artist and art teacher.
