Seeds of the League Community Programs extends the League’s distinguished art education and spirit of community beyond its fabled walls. It nourishes the artistic and career aspirations of students, pre-professional, and emerging artists, generally those without the resources or exposure the League can offer. Through partnerships with non-profit organizations, public schools, and city agencies it brings art to a broader audience of children, adults, and families in their communities.

Learn more about the unique stories of our Seedlings
Since 2010, Seeds has made it possible for more than 650 students to study at the League and has served thousands of NYC youth through artist-led community programming. Hear from several current and former Seeds students and Teaching Artists as they share about their experience with the program.
