Junji Ito, a Japanese manga-artist, has influenced me the most due to his detailed line work in his manga. He uses ink to create high-contrast disturbing scenes, which is one of my favorite mediums to use. Junji Ito is known for creating exciting terrifying books such as “Tomie” and “Uzumaki”, which are some of my favorite books to read. I have been a horror fan ever since I was little and became interested in scary subjects to draw since it was different from what I was assigned to draw in class. This made me want to explore various subjects in art and try to paint different scenes, like Junji Ito.

I want to sell my art to museums, make custom designs for t-shirt companies, and paint murals. I want to showcase how art is supposed to be fun for people and can be depicted in different ways. I want to illustrate this by creating wacky-distorted designs that express the insane mind of an everyday artist. Even though I love black and white ink drawings, I am a huge fan of vibrant, brightly colored works of art.
