Studying at the Art Students League would help me reconnect with the arts and meet like-minded individuals, pushing me to grow and strive as an artist. I would like to resume taking courses at the League to further push my own boundaries as an artist and absorb as much information as possible from my instructors. I would also like to continue my academic studies in art, learning more about human anatomy and diverse forms of portraiture.

I would like to pursue tattooing as a future career. I am deeply infatuated with the intimate process of tattooing, leaving behind marks permanently embedded under someone’s skin.
Some artists that have influenced my love for painting and creation are Sargent, Monet, and Manet. The impressionist movement is one of my favorite periods in art history. I am interested in the artists’ ability to immortalize life in a split-second frame. I also enjoy painterly brushwork, letting paint do what it does best while capturing details of all kinds. I’ve always been interested in the illusion paint brings to the human eye.
