I want to study at the Art Students League because I feel that it would be a great way to develop my artistic skills and help me achieve my dreams. I would like to work in the field of animation, whether by creating concept art, animating, or working as a storyboard artist.

“I would like to work in the field of animation, whether by creating concept art, animating, or working as a storyboard artist. “
This dream has been alive since I was a kid. Growing up, I was always interested in the production of my favorite animated shows and movies. I was very inspired by Richard Williams, who is most known for his work as an animation director on “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” He was given the task to choreograph the characters and make them blend into reality, and he succeeded.
While his work on that movie is incredibly inspiring, his passion project “The Thief and the Cobbler,” is one of the most carefully crafted animated films I have ever seen. I appreciate everything from the flowing movement of a character’s hand to the thrilling backgrounds and scenery. While this passion project ended up not meeting Williams’s expectations, I think it is a masterpiece. In 2015, he released “Prologue,” an incredible animated short film. All three of these films are remarkable works of art, showing just how far the medium of animation can go, and how much farther it can be pushed.
